Our Dermatopathologist has a long history of research accomplishments and papers starting more than 25 years ago. He attended programs for the gifted before getting an honors Cellular and Molecular Biology Degree at the University of Michigan. He attended Albert Einstein College of Medicine initially in their MD/PhD program, and graduated with Distinction honors in Molecular Pathology. He did a fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, and National Cancer Institute during their Melanoma protocol seeing as many or more melanoma and metastatic melanoma than any program in the world. He did a two year Dermatopathology and Dermatology fellowship at New York University. He worked for more than a decade in high volume commercial labs including Quest diagnositics, Lab Corp, and Ameripath. In addition he has provided dermatopathology service for private practice groups in the San Francisco Bay area. Having experience in Academia, Commercial Labs, and private practice gives our clients the best of what each has to offer, and hopefully leaves out the rest.
